Product Owner – Loan Servicing (Versana / Loan IQ)

Role Summary:

We are hiring a Product Owner to support a loan servicing platform integrated with Versana. This is a niche contract role focused on backlog ownership, cross-functional coordination, and supporting the client’s ongoing Versana implementation. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in syndicated loan servicing and deliver immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for loan servicing (Versana / Loan IQ)
• Translate business requirements into clear features and user stories
• Collaborate with technology teams and external vendors for end-to-end delivery
• Act as the primary contact for production issues, escalations, and enhancements
• Manage production triage and issue resolution
• Support UAT execution and oversee production releases
• Work in Agile environments using Jira and user-story-driven development

Required Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Versana (strongly preferred) or Loan IQ
• Product Owner/Product Manager experience with backlog ownership
• Strong understanding of syndicated loan servicing operations
• Experience in Agile environments (Jira)
• Experience with UAT and production deployments
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Preferred Background:

• Experience working with large financial institutions (e.g., top global banks)
• Direct experience working on Versana implementations
• Knowledge of Versana lifecycle: integration design, data flows, event consumption
• Loan IQ experience as a closely related skill set
• Technical background is a plus (not mandatory)
• 2–3 years of relevant Versana experience preferred

• Versana is a new platform transforming syndicated loan servicing
• The client is currently behind in implementation and needs immediate support
• Role involves working on complex business execution and strategic initiatives

Pay Range: $60 - $65

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
