Summary:

HCLTech is looking for an experienced Electrical System Engineer to support medical product design and development .

Key Responsibilities

• 6–9 years of experience in electrical engineering for medical product design and development .
• Strong understanding of the medical product development lifecycle , from concept through launch.
• Support system concept definition, system characterization, analysis, new technology assessment, and system integration .
• Draft and maintain system, sub‑system, and functional requirements , along with test plans, V&V protocols, and reports .
• Lead and support system‑level verification and validation activities.
• Coordinate with compliance labs for IEC certification and regulatory testing.
• Work closely with Mechanical, Biomedical, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure design and compliance alignment.
• Hands‑on experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers, and sensors .
• Support vendor and supplier coordination as required.
• Provide technical direction to design and test technicians .
• Troubleshoot system‑level issues during development and validation phases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated medical device environments
• Familiarity with IEC standards and compliance testing
• Strong documentation and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite, multi‑disciplinary setting

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $72000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $11000 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
