Landscape Images, Ltd. is a residential landscape design, installation, and maintenance firm proudly serving the New Orleans area for over 40 years. We are seeking an Operations Manager to strengthen the day-to-day operational flow of the business across maintenance, installation, and office-to-field coordination.

About the Role

The Operations Manager will lead the operational backbone of the business, from pipeline visibility and scheduling through project execution, invoicing readiness, workforce management, and reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with experience in landscaping, construction, or another field-service environment who is comfortable with crew scheduling, process improvement, job costing, operational reporting, and office-to-field coordination.

This role serves as a key link between ownership and the rest of the organization, helping turn direction into execution while keeping people, priorities, and processes moving.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across maintenance, installation, and office-to-field coordination
• Manage scheduling, crew capacity, and workload flow across active and upcoming work
• Oversee work order flow from creation through job completion and billing handoff
• Maintain visibility into pipeline, backlog, job progress, quality, and operational efficiency
• Track job costing, labor utilization, crew performance, and operational reporting
• Visit active job sites to monitor safety, work quality, crew organization, and execution
• Help ensure invoicing progress, timekeeping accuracy, and job documentation stay on track
• Improve and maintain internal systems, SOPs, reporting cadence, and process accountability
• Directly manage field supervisors and crews
• Support hiring, onboarding, and HR coordination as needed
• Provide functional oversight to key administrative roles in support of business operations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience with direct reports and cross-functional responsibility
• Experience managing field labor in landscaping, construction, or another service-based industry
• Strong background in process improvement, workflow management, and operational accountability
• Financial literacy, including job costing, labor tracking, reporting, and business performance metrics
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with business software, accounting-related systems, and operational reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in landscape, horticulture, or field construction services
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience with QuickBooks and timekeeping/payroll support systems
