Field Project Manager (Data Center) - Nebraska

Join a growing security team within a global, privately held systems integrator supporting highly secure, mission-critical environments. This is a hands-on field leadership role focused on execution, quality, and customer confidence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead day-to-day field operations on complex technical projects in active, high-availability facilities
• Direct and support technicians, specialists, and subcontractors, providing guidance, oversight, and mentorship
• Coordinate work in live environments while maintaining strict safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute installation plans, procedures, and controlled changes
• Identify potential risks early and work with stakeholders to minimize impact
• Ensure installations meet applicable codes, standards, and internal quality expectations
• Perform hands-on system work including installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service of security and life-safety technologies
• Act as a key technical contact for customers, supporting system use, documentation, and training
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, reliability, and attention to detail

This is a full-time, direct hire role, fully onsite, covering local client sites in the greater metro Omaha area. Minimal travel. Limited on-call, typically less than once monthly. Includes vehicle, tools, PPE, uniform, phone, and laptop. Strong internal team with room to grow!

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Data center Project Manager experience
• Software House experience
• Quality assessment and control experience, including post-assessment training
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Valid driver’s license

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Electronic security system installation experience
