Job role: Music Teacher For Primary and Middle School Students

Type of school：K12 international school
Location： Shanghai
Starting date：August 2026

Job Position:
- 20 teaching periods per week;
- Class size：25-30 students;
- Working hours：
Monday (7:40-17:40);
Tuesday-Thursday (7:40-16:45)：
Friday (7:40-16:00)

Benefits:
- Gross Base Salary：25k+RMB per month before tax, based on teaching experience and qualifications;
- Accommodation：
There are two alternatives:
1. Free accommodation on campus: one bedroom
(with 500 yuan utility fee)
2. Housing allowance RMB5000/per month
(with the proper rental invoices issued by the tax office provided)
- Days and Salary for Summer & Winter Holidays：
1. All Chinese national holidays;
2. 3-week paid leave during winter breaks including Chinese Spring Festival;
3. Paid summer holidays, negotiable.If the school needs the teacher to work during the holiday, they will be paid for the extra work.
- Meal：Three meals：Chinese Food + simple western meal
- Insurance：Health and Accident Insurance
- Flight Ticket：8,000 RMB per academic year
- Health Check：Whole body check once a year in a private hospital

Reimbursement：
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Native English speaker;
- Bachelor degree or above
- Good at string instruments, with experience playing in bands or experience working in a choir
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience;
- Great presentation and communication skills;
- Mature, responsible and patient with a good sense of humour and a good rapport with children;
- Committed to work and is respectful the school’s culture
- Enthusiasm for professional development and a desire to continually improve teaching practices
