Job Description

SpineSearch is working with an established orthopedic practice affiliated with a leading health system and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join their growing team in Manhattan. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment alongside experienced orthopedic specialists, with access to the resources and stability of a larger health system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper technique
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within the EMR system
  • Follow all radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self
  • Assist with additional clinical or administrative duties as needed within the practice

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required
  • ARRT certification required (or eligible)
  • State licensure as required
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior orthopedic or outpatient experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
