This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rigger at Hanwha Philly Shipyard in Philadelphia, PA. The Rigger will be responsible for preparing and securing materials, equipment, and machinery for safe lifting and movement. Day-to-day tasks include attaching loads using cables, ropes, and chains; inspecting rigging equipment to ensure safety; and effectively communicating with crane operators and other team members. The Rigger will also adhere to safety protocols, problem-solve in challenging environments, and optimize the efficiency of operations while supporting the shipbuilding process.

• Proficiency in rigging techniques, equipment operation, and load management
• Understanding of safety procedures and compliance with OSHA regulations
• Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities, particularly in high-stakes environments
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with heavy machinery
• Previous experience in shipbuilding or a similar industrial setting preferred
• Physical stamina and the ability to handle physical labor in various work environments
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in rigging or relevant training programs is desirable
