School Social Workers support elementary students by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs that impact learning. This role partners with educators, families, and school teams to promote student well being, improve access to resources, and foster a positive school climate.

Position Details:

• Start Date: 8/6/26
• End Date: 5/21/27
• Schedule: Part Time: Flexible schedule, 22.5 guaranteed hours per week or Full Time: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Grade Levels: Elementary
• Location: In Person
• School Year: 2026/2027

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement intervention strategies.
• Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments and contribute to IEPs, 504 plans, and MTSS processes.
• Support crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and attendance initiatives.
• Partner with families to connect students with community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state, district, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible Colorado School Social Worker license or certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support diverse student populations with varying social-emotional needs.
