As a Security Officer Driver Verification in Columbia SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Access Control Officer in a government location you will help manage entry and exit activity monitor assigned areas and support a professional welcoming environment. This is a driving post offering the opportunity to stay active while handling security-related responsibilities with strong communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and authorized personnel by following site-specific procedures access control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and credentials and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Screen visitors deliveries and personal property in accordance with site policies and report suspicious unusual and/or prohibited activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting security-related events and observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter noting conditions checking restricted areas and communicating concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA: DPSS/DHS.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
