As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Driver in Freeport TX this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points verify credentials and visitor authorization and document arrivals departures and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including exterior perimeters and access control points while observing for unusual activity unsecured areas and/or policy violations.
• Support traffic and visitor management by providing directions maintaining post records and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
