As a Security Officer Part Time Driver in Tarrytown NY this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors patients staff and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a healthcare location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity verify identification and/or visitor access permissions and document arrivals departures and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Answer phones greet guests provide directions and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete required logs reports and other administrative tasks related to visitor management access control and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
