Job Title: Sr Advanced Test Engineer

Location: Onsite (Phoenix, AZ) 7 Month contract- W2

Employment Type: Contract (Subcontractors Welcome)

Pay Rate: $60.00- $65.00/ hr

Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking multiple experienced Avionics Test Engineers to support a high-visibility aerospace project for a leading client. This role focuses on DO-160 qualification testing and hardware Validation & Verification (V&V) for advanced avionics systems.

You will work alongside top engineering talent to ensure compliance, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge electronic hardware used in business aviation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute environmental and EMI qualification testing (DO-160) on avionics hardware
• Perform Validation & Verification (V&V) testing of electronic systems
• Develop and document detailed test procedures and reports for regulatory compliance
• Support certification efforts for customer and regulatory bodies (e.g., FAA)
• Identify, document, and communicate non-compliance issues
• Utilize lab instrumentation and computer-assisted engineering tools for testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure product quality and performance

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of experience in hardware or product engineering
• Hands-on experience with environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics qualification
• Strong understanding of DO-160 testing standards

Preferred:

• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, and other qualification standards
• Experience with hardware verification testing
• Knowledge of electronic display systems and optical testing equipment
• Proficiency with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
