Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a broad range of HR and Administrative duties. Primary responsibilities include serving as an initial point of contact for employee inquiries, issues, and employee life cycle events. This position will help push forward our positive culture building initiatives and carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, onboarding and off-boarding, policies, procedures, compliance, reporting and analytics, and HR technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle talent acquisition activities, including job postings, recruitment events, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  • Administer pre-employment processes, including background checks and required screenings.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and candidate inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and new hire orientation, ensuring accurate data entry in HR systems and maintaining compliance through regular audits.
  • Track and analyze HR and recruiting metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Partner with managers to support performance management processes, ensuring timely and consistent completion of evaluations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights or recommendations based on findings.
  • Provide administrative support across HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR systems, and compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed in alignment with the scope of the role.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Human Resources experience; experience in a manufacturing environment and high-volume recruiting is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
  • Experience with time and attendance systems preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with flexibility and a growth-oriented mindset.
