Paramedic | Executive Security Medical Operations (Center-Based)

Contract Through August 14, 2028

100–140 shifts per year, 12-hour shifts

$700 per shift guaranteed

HealthCare Recruiters International ( HCRI ) is seeking a California Licensed Paramedic for a unique Executive Security Medical Operations role based in Palo Alto.

This is a center-based medical operations position focused on preparedness, travel planning, and medical logistics , not a traditional ambulance response role. Paramedics support executive security teams by coordinating medical readiness and ensuring the best possible outcomes if a medical incident occurs.

This role offers $700 per shift with 100–140 guaranteed shifts per year .

Paramedic Responsibilities

• Planning medical readiness for the client’s trave l (domestic & international)
• Identify hospitals and medical resources near travel destinations
• Prepare and maintain medical kits and travel medic bags
• Manage medical inventory and ensure equipment readiness
• Coordinate medical preparedness for executive travel operations
• Respond to on-campus medical emergencies, as needed
• Provide BLS level care until EMS or 911 arrives for campus
• Physicians are on call for consultation during medical emergencies
• Contact physicians for medical guidance related to on-campus incidents or medical needs involving corporate staff

Paramedic Requirements

• California Paramedic License
• NREMT-P Certification (National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic)
• BLS, ACLS, and First Aid certifications
• TECC – Tactical Emergency Casualty Care
• Ability to obtain FPC (Flight Paramedic Certification) within one year of contract start (company-paid training)
• Ability to obtain WUMP certification (company-paid training)
• LEO or Military background preferred
• Must live within 1–1.5 hours of Palo Alto

Paramedic Compensation

• $700 per shift guaranteed
• 100–140 shifts per year
• 12-hour shifts
• Schedules set 60–90 days in advance
